Run

  • If there is a safe route, take it. Leave the bags, the trolley, the car.
  • Take others with you, but don’t wait for people who won’t move.

Hide

  • If you can’t run: lock or barricade a room, phone on silent, lights off, stay low and away from the door.

Tell

  • Call 999 when it’s safe: where, what, how many.
  • When police arrive, keep your hands empty and visible. Do exactly what they say.
