War or regional conflict

Low odds, long tail

Before

  • Keep passports valid for the whole family. It is the most boring and most important item here.
  • Stock up early and quietly, before the panic buying, not during.

During

  • Follow government announcements only. Have the battery radio ready if the internet goes.
  • Sirens or an alert: indoors, interior room, away from windows.
  • Don’t post photos or locations of military or police activity online.
  • If your area is threatened, leave for R3 early. Early is safe; late is a traffic jam.

After

  • Expect shortages for months: fuel, medicine, imports. Barter chapter applies.
  • Keep the family routine. It is the strongest thing you own.

GO DEEPER.
