Masks, sanitiser, thermometer and a first-aid box laid out on a dining table at night

Outbreak

We’ve done this beforeMasks, meds and a plan for staying in.

RIGHT NOW.

  1. 1Follow Ministry of Health guidance, not voice notes.
  2. 2Mask up, wash hands, the sick person gets their own room.
  3. 3Use the stockpile so you can skip the crowds.

BEFORE. DURING. AFTER.

Outbreak

We’ve done this before

Before

  • Two weeks of food and a month of prescriptions, so you can skip the crowds.
  • Masks, thermometer, ORS, paracetamol.

During

  • Follow Ministry of Health guidance, not forwarded voice notes from someone’s cousin.
  • One sick person, one room, their own bathroom if possible.
  • Keep the kids’ routine going. Boredom is a contagion too.

After

  • Restock what you used.
  • Write down what worked. You will need it again; ask anyone who lived through 2020.

GO DEEPER.
